Event Description
Join us for our first Put Down Roots tree-planting and tree-care event! Tree planting in the morning followed by a barbecue and workshops in the afternoon. Volunteers of all ages are welcome.
Great Outdoors Colorado has provided North Sterling State Park with funding to purchase and plant nursery trees to provide shade and habitat on the park. Volunteers of all ages are invited to come help us plant these trees, plus learn how to help us care for the trees and seedlings already growing on the park. We hope to make this a semi-annual event in the spring and fall.
