No Child Left Inside




So, I started to help out with Colorado No Child Left Inside Days. We've currently got 15 or so partner organizations that are commiting to at least one day in a span of two weeks to get some chill'ins outside to learn about something. I work at Mueller State Park and we're hosting programs that inform children about forest fires on September 24th, National Public Lands Day. But it isn't JUST state parks that are involved. We've got Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument hosting a super Junior Ranger Day, Pueblo Nature and Raptor Center teaching about birds, and even the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society is hosting a day of looking at the sun and making sun dials followed by a night of checking out the stars. Our hopes are to create an annual celebration, spanning the same two weeks every year. We want to bring more and more organizations in. What is your state or organization doing for No Child Left Inside?

The Colorado Outdoor Education Center at Sanborn Western Camps is hosting a No Child Left Inside Family Fun Day at our High Trails Outdoor Education Center facility in Florissant, CO on September 24th.

We are offering great family activities, hikes, and a fantastic FREE lunch to all participants.

that's the plan! i just put the order in today. 200 stickers for each organization. e-mail me your physical address and i'll send some out to you on September 10th.

Heyyy!!! I'm new here, and I'm putting an outdoors co-op together here in Memphis , and would love to do something like that here. If you could shoot me some info that would rock!! And I would love to get my fingers on some of those stickers
