Comment by Jillian Bejtlich on July 18, 2012 at 9:44am I'm planning on getting there around 8-8:30am on Saturday morning I think. I'll try to figure out if there's any decent breakfast places around and see if we can all figure out a place to grab some food.
I'm not in a rush to leave (I live in NH) right after the Summit on Sunday, so if anyone wants to grab some dinner - I'm game! What's everyone want to check out (someone mentioned Fenway)? Perhaps we can try to figure out an area to grab dinner in,

Comment by Anna Harrison on July 16, 2012 at 5:56pm Hi everyone!
I was just wondering where people were staying on Friday and Sunday nights. I'm thinking of the HI Boston, but I'd definitely like to meet people beforehand or hang out afterwards.
Comment by Samuel Joseph Hoskins on July 12, 2012 at 5:44pm Hello everyone! I'm super excited for the summit! I'm not sure if I should make this a discussion topic, but I'm hoping a comment will be fine. I'm heading down from my internship here in Acadia NP and don't have a sleeping bag. I was wondering if anyone might have an extra sleeping pad and bag that they wouldn't mind letting me borrow for Saturday night. Would anyone be willing if you're in the Boston area or just have an extra one?
Comment by Jillian Bejtlich on July 11, 2012 at 1:22pm Josh - Umass Boston to Logan would be:
Board Red line (Braintree - Inbound) @ JFK/UMass
Swap on to Silver Line 1 (Outbound) @ South Station
Get off @ Logan (there's stops for each terminal)
Give yourself at least an hour!!!
There's also a bus that goes from the JFK/UMass subway stop to further into campus, but I'm not familiar with it or if it's just easier to walk.
Comment by Joshua Niforatos on July 11, 2012 at 1:10pm Sounds good! What would I take from UMass-Boston to Logan?
Comment by Jillian Bejtlich on July 11, 2012 at 1:04pm Hey Josh, you can buy tickets for the Silver and Red line at the MBTA ticket kiosks at all of the stops (airport included). They take both cash and credit. If you think you'll be wandering around a lot during your time in Boston, you might want to ask someone at an MBTA information booth for a Charlie Card. They're a bit easier to put more money on and I find I don't lose them as easily!
Comment by Joshua Niforatos on July 11, 2012 at 1:01pm Sweet! Thanks, Jillian. I have no idea what I'll be doing Friday afternoon, so I may just walk around the BU area. Also, question about the Silver Line and Red Line... how do we use them? Do we buy a ticket in advance? Is it cash or CC?
