Matt, I had a similar question earlier.. Heres the response I got!

"{The summit] starts at noon Friday, ends at 5pm Sunday. We'll get a more detailed schedule posted in the forum soon."

Thanks, Cam! I'm pumped to hear of the detailed schedule, as well, but at least it seems like there's some dimension to the whole weekend :-).

Christine-

We are coming from Montana (Helena). Haven't done any trip planning, but I know of a few options. You should shoot me a message with your contact info and what city you're in and I'll try to get some more details. Same goes for anyone else in Montana!

Hey Everyone! Hopefully, this finds folks less smoke-enveloped than myself and many other co-workers, friends, & family down in New Mexico, with now two blazes burning simultaneously in Las Conchas and Pacheco, yikes(!) Since it looks like I'll have to fly to Denver for the Summit weekend, does anyone know if there are shuttles/services between the Denver airport and Cherry Creek State Park?

Hello,
are there any more details about the summit available? Do we need a place to stay and/or book our own campsites? Is there any kind of a schedule? What kind of gear to we need to bring? Help!

I have all the same questions as Jessica, as I am sure many of us do! Please let us know! :-)

Hey guys -- I know Ivan is working on getting the detail to you... but I can answer some things in real time and he can make corrections...

Summit starts at 11am on Friday at Cherry Creek State Park...

We have campsites and facilities reserved for everyone for Friday and Saturday nights at the park... we have tents which you will share with a tent buddy/buddies... bring a sleeping bag or a sheet/blanket and pillow for yourself... bring shower shoes and a towel... bring a flashlight... sunscreen... bug repellant... rain gear... closed toe shoes for summer fun day... swimsuit if you plan on enjoying the swim beach...

Days basically go like this... Friday 11am reg, noon start with programming until about 8pm... sat is 8am start with Summer Fun Day and lots of awesome outdoor activities running from noon to 5pm... then programming until about 8pm again... Sunday will run from 8am until 3pm or so...

We have plans for all meals... and some amazing campfire conversations at night...

What else? Fire the questions at me!

If you are going to the Wyoming tailgate summit in Cheyenne the day before you need to let Keith Kyl know that you are coming...
