Yeehaw!
I am going to the Summit!
But I certainly hope that its not limited to only locals.... I will be coming from Texas, but this was the closest ones with dates that could fit my schedule!
(Also being said is that I hope that all that is discussed doesn't solely consist of mountainous region outdoor activities)

Cam,
A good portion of the state and the majority of our population is found outside the Rocky Mountains. I wouldn't be too worried. Its going to be cool to have other state's residents involved in the discussions.

Hey all -- don't miss this announcement about the Wyoming "Tailgate" Summit!

Does anyone know of a general plan for the summit? (As in dates and times of certain things) I thought I saw one before, but I cant find it now....

I need to book a flight (very) soon, and would like to know when I should fly in/out.

Thanks.

What a stellar idea for three days of goodness! I do love making time to hike and/or trail run in the mornings, kayaking in the afternoon, and doing spoken word in the evenings. Yet, I'd also be curious to gauge people's thoughts on eating habits and even start a discussion on incorporating more local, sustainable food to nourish & drive our outdoorsy ways!

Matt, as for eating habits, I am still at the stage where you buy stuff from the store and eat that... but I would be more than happy to participate in a discussion about local food and that sort of thing... perhaps even make-your-own recipes to save money and incorporate your favorites, rather than store bought food.

Thanks, Cam! Even for working with a Santa Fe Youth Food Cadre, a pilot AmeriCorps program to cultivate local food systems, it's been nothing short of fascinating to watch my own and our other staff members' habits in how we source our food over the last 10 months. We also just held "How to Cook Local, Organic Meals on A Budget" session that I'd be all for bringing materials from up to Denver!

Say, would anyone registered for Denver happen to know when the Summit kicks off on the 22nd and wraps on the 24th? Considering either plane or bus fares, it seems like prices are only going to CLIMB.
