As of now, MEVO’s goals are ambitious—all the food we plan to grow in our two organic garden in Mahwah and Paramus is by harvest time going to be given away to organizations such as the Center for Food Action, which will distribute the food to members of the local community here in Bergen County. However, to do that we need containers to grow many of MEVO’s seeds in and the containers are in short supply. These containers can be laundry baskets, milk crates, laundry hampers, plastic planting pots. Any recycled container that won’t be toxic and a person can plant crops is needed. Please give any containers you can donate and MEVO’s organic farm dreams will come true!
