The Quest For a New Route- CS City Surfers

Finding new biking terrain in the concrete jungle can be tough, especially when our daylight is getting shorter by the day.

We always keep track of our progress and push ourselves everyday. We try and figure out our strengths and weaknesses before every ride-- It helps us become safer and more aware on our bikes. Growing up and staying active make our muscles stronger, so every ride we take, we get faster and can go farther. We're currently up to six miles, but since were on a time crunch we can only fit in about four.

After discussing our quest for a new route with the City Surfers, excitement rang as we had clear paths ahead and found the Hellgate Train Trestle on Randalls Island.

While the sun was setting, magnificent beams of sunlight ran between the pillars adding an outer city experience to our journey. The relaxing, yet strenuous ride gave us the desire to keep the quest for a new route alive, as we found many unknown paths throughout the ride. A stress free ride through the country keeps our hearts healthy and our minds and body active.
